¡HOLA! Me llamo Janice Lafarga, vivo en Midway,

Parte de mi familia paterna mis dos sobrinas y sus familias residen aquí en Midway (UT), mi hermana Tamara vive en Rancho Sta. Fe (CA) y mi otra hermana Cindy vive en Wisconsin, .

Mi familia materna vive en España, mi madre en Catalunya mi madre y mi hermano en Madrid.

He vivido parte de mi vida en Barcelona (España) y también en California ( La Jolla, Joshua Tree) y en Las Vegas ( Arizona).

En 1995 estudié en la Universitat de Barcelona, Diseño Gráfico .

Seguí mis estudios en UCSD, La Jolla, CA en "Marketing, Publicidad y Ventas" y me especializé con un máster en " Dirección de empresa"

He trabajado en varias empresas como " El Port de Barcelona", Barcelona,  y "Bellagio" Casino en Las Vegas, siempre vinculada al mundo del Diseño gráfico y Márqueting.

En 2007 descubrí el sector de la educación y me atrapó rápidamente, empecé a trabajar de maestra de diseño Gráfico en una escuela Superior de Diseño y Artes.

​

El año pasado trabajé en Timpanogos Intermediate School (Heber City) como ESL Aid Teacher en 5th y 6th grado.

Este serà mi primer año como maestra de Dual Immersion, tengo la suerte de compartir mi clase con una maestra de gran talento y carisma:  Lindsey Harvey.   

     

Me gustan los libros de narrativa y de ciencia ficción. Mis libros favoritos son: 

"El Principito" de Antoine de Saint-Exupéry y "Momo" de Michael Ende.

Me encanta el aire libre, las montañas, escalar, esquiar y sobretodo viajar.

​

Me pregunto continuamente sobre el mundo mágico de los niños y me encanta su constante deseo de aprender cosas nuevas todos los días.

HELLO! My name is Janice Lafarga, I live in Midway,

Part of my father's family, my two nieces and their families reside here in Midway (UT), 

one of my sisters lives in Rancho Sta. Fe (CA) and the other sister Cindy lives in Wisconsin.

My mother's family lives in Spain, my mum in Catalonia and my brother in Madrid.

I've lived most of my life in Barcelona (Spain) and in California (La Jolla, Joshua Tree) and Las Vegas (Arizona).

 

In 1995 I studied at the University of Barcelona, ​​Graphic Design.

I continued my studies at UCSD, La Jolla, CA in "Marketing, Advertising and Sales" and I specialized with a Masters degree in "Management Company"

I have worked in several companies as "El Port de Barcelona", Barcelona, ​​and "Bellagio" casino in Las Vegas, always linked to the world of Graphic Design and Marketing.

 

In 2007 I discovered the field of education and caught me quickly, I started working as a teacher of graphic design in a Superior School of Design and Arts.

 

Last year I worked at Timpanogos Intermediate School (Heber City) as ESL Teacher Aid in 5th and 6th grade.

I like books of fiction and science fiction. My favourite books are:

"The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupery and "Momo" by Michael Ende.

 

I love the outdoors, mountains, climbing, skiing and especially traveling.

 

I wonder constantly about the magical world of children and love their constant desire to learn new things every day.
